Located an hour from Thunder Bay, Ouimet (pronounced wee-met) Canyon Provincial Park exists solely to protect the mile long gorge and the rare arctic plants growing at the bottom. The only recreational activity is a short, accessible hike to two observation platforms, allowing you to marvel at this impressive canyon. While there isn't much to this park, the scenery is so breathtaking you can't afford to skip a visit.
