Elm Creek Park Reserve, Minnesota

Last Updated: August 14th, 2018

Park Information

The largest park in the entire Three Rivers Park District system, this park in the Twin Cities hosts a massive array of recreational opportunities, including mountain biking, disc golf, volleyball, and archery. It's also extremely kid friendly, with an absolutely massive playground, swimming beach around a shallow pond, and many short trails. You can also let your dog run free in the multiple acres of off-leash area in the northeast corner of the park. There's even a campground available.

With over 50 miles of trails, you can return many times and still have somewhere new to hike! Head to the Eastman Nature Center for shorter and family friendly trails like the Heron or Oxbow Trails. For longer treks, circle the many lakes.
