Carver Park Reserve, Minnesota

Last Updated: August 14th, 2018

Park Information

Unlike other parks in the Three Rivers Park District, this park reserve has more of a rural feel. The scenery is quite varied with forest, lakes, rolling hills, and prairie. This park even offers a campground to those looking for a night under the stars close to the Twin Cities.

There are over 25 miles of hiking trails in this park, and many routes circle one of the 10 large lakes in the park. This park is so large there are multiple areas to start your trek. The easiest trails are located near the nature center. Other longer trails start near the historic Grimm farm. While dogs aren't allowed on unpaved trails here, there are plenty of paved trails to wander as well as an off-leash area.
